Laconia Muskrats 2013 Coaching Staff
Matt Alison will return for his third season as the Muskrats manager in 2013. The 2012 team finished 3rd in the NECBL Eastern Division and made the playoffs for the 3rd straight season. In Alison’s first summer as manager, he guided the 2011 Muskrats to the NECBL Championship Series. The 2011 team was the first Muskrats team to win a playoff game, win a playoff series, and win the Eastern Division Championship. Under Alison the Muskrats have produced 2 NECBL MVPs, 10 NECBL All Stars and have 12 former players playing professionally.
Alison is currently the hitting coach at Mid-America Nazerene in Olathe, Kansas. Alison spent the 2011 season at Spartanburg Methodist College in Spartanburg, South Carolina, working alongside former Muskrats manager, Matt Williams. Prior to joining the Pioneer coaching staff Matt spent seven seasons as an assistant at Mid-America Nazerene. Additionally, Alison has experience with summer collegiate baseball having coached in the prestigious Alaska Baseball League with the Athletes In Action Fire. He was also the head coach of the Bear Valley Rapids in the Boise Summer Baseball League.
Alison played two seasons at Mount Vernon College in Ohio before finishing his playing career at Mid-America Nazerene University.
Luke Demko returns to the Muskrats staff for the 2013 season. Demko is in his second year as the pitching coach for Fort Scott Community College in Fort Scott, Kansas.
Demko is no stranger to the Lakes Region as he was a standout pitcher for Gilford High School. He holds most Golden Eagle pitching records. Luke played collegiately for the University of Rhode Island. He holds the URI single season saves record with 11. In 2009 he was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the 29th round. He played one year of professional baseball with the Newark Bears. Demko is also no stranger to the NECBL either, having pitched for the Sanford Mainers for two summers during his college days.

Connor Gandossy – Hitting Coach
Connor Gandossy joins the Muskrats staff as hitting coach for the 2013 season. Gandossy is currently an assistant coach at Jefferson Community College in Hillsboro, Missouri.
Gandossy is a 2012 graduate of St. Louis University where he was a 2 year starter for the Billikens. Originally from Connecticut, Gandossy resides in St. Louis, MO.
