Internships

The Laconia Muskrats are a member of the non-profit New England Collegiate Baseball League.  Our mission is to provide affordable entertainment to the Lakes Region and aid our players in the betterment of the baseball careers.  We also strive to be an active and supportive member of the Lakes Region community

We are looking for individuals that have an interest in the business of sports management, advertising, marketing and/or a love of baseball.  We work off the minor league baseball model of a highly entertaining event with baseball as the backdrop.  If you are a motivated and hardworking individual, we would like you to join us for a summer of learning and fun.

As an intern you will have the opportunity to experience and learn all aspects of running the franchise. You will interact with fans, sponsors, players and coaches in some or all of the following areas:

Marketing and Merchandising    

     Street Team activities, including mascot/player appearances

     Selling merchandise at games

     Recruit new & manage existing fundraising partners

Public Relations

    Press release and game summaries    

    Game day media hospitality & press box set-up    

    Development and distribution of newsletters

Game Day Operations    

    Promotions & entertainment    

    Pre-game preparation & volunteer management    

    Gate coverage, fan welcoming, visibility, ushering    

    Private party hospitality service
 

IT / Video Production    

    Management and maintenance of computer network systems

    Gathering and maintaining statistical information

    Game day filming and video production

Food and Beverage

     Inventory management

     Menu creation

     Assist with vendor agreements and sponsorships
